My father was a professional football player, so sport is in my blood. I played hockey in the OHL with NHL aspirations. When hockey finished, I earned a bachelorās degree and then my masterās. A lengthy career in communications followed: television, publishing & marketing.
I raised my family in Toronto, Oakville and White Rock. My sons are athletes – football, lacrosse and hockey –Ā one followed my footsteps to the OHL and this fall, with his MBA in hand, leaves to play professional hockeyĀ in Europe. The other earned a BA in marketing andĀ works in Toronto’s tech sector. Together they own Halcyon Restaurant, a euro-centric food hub serving coffee, wine and pizza in Toronto’s Bloor-West-Village.
My partner, a Toronto girl, and I relocated and built our dream home in Caledon ā Country Living with a View of the City! We love itĀ ā so much to see and do.
With five adult children between us, the farm has quickly become a celebrated place for our growing family to enjoy and explore while building treasured memories.
It was an excellent first half; Iāve experienced personal and professional success, and I get to stay involved in the game that I love, representing a small and select group of elite hockey players with professional aspirations.
I entered the second half and went searching for new challenges.
Today, along with helping to manage our farm, Black Barns, I am enthusiastically exercising as a REALTORĀ® the skills of my lifetime in communications, marketing, sales and negotiation – helping others to fulfill their own dreams.
